Other Ways to Give

Restricted Support

While general operating support allows us to put your donation where it is most needed, we understand that you may have a passion for a specific area or program at The Mark Twain House & Museum. We gratefully accept restricted donations to areas like:

  • Restoration Projects: Projects in the Main House and Carriage House that preserve and restore these two historical buildings. Examples include the famous Mahogany Room on the first floor of the Main House, and the first floor of the Carriage House where we hope to display the Clemens Family sleigh.
  • Curatorial and Acquisitions: Support our extensive Collection and Archives by helping to preserve and restore current collections, as well as enable us to acquire additional items integral to our mission.
  • Education Programs: Our many educational programs for local students and adults are a staple of our offerings. From free school visits to intensive summer programs The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, we cover it all!
