Music and the work of W.B. Yeats. An evening of Gaelic music and readings from Yeats's poetry. Music and readings will be performed by the New Haven Gaelic Players.

Film: Peter Pan
Take advantage of the rare opportunity to view the first movie production of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Produced as a silent film in 1925, with Barrie acting as casting director. Debra Petke, Deputy Director of The Mark Twain House & Museum, will present a short introduction to the film.

Lecture: Souls of Genius-The Modernist Movement
Debra Petke, Deputy Director of The Mark Twain House & Museum, and co-curator of the exhibit Men of Mark, will present a lecture exploring the ideas and styles of the men who ushered in the modernist movement at the Turn of the Century.

Lecture: The Saga of Sargent's Madame X
Trevor Fairbrother, author of John Singer Sargent: The Sensualist, and noted expert on the artist who became one of the world's most noted portraitists will present a discussion of Sargent and his work. A book signing will follow the lecture.

Wednesday, April 14
Table Talk with Mark Twain and Theodore Roosevelt.
An evening of lively discussion and debate between two of the world's most outspoken men. James Foote, a Roosevelt expert and impersonator who regularly performs as TR at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, will debate with Mark Twain as personified by Twain impersonator John Pogson.

Lecture: Methods of Photography at the Turn of the Century
Hunter Neal, a professional photographer and teacher of photographic methods, will present a lecture on the techniques and instruments used by photographers at the end of the 19th century.

Lecture: Coburn's Self-Portrait Without a Lens
Diane Forsberg, Beatrice Fox Auerbach Chief Curator of The Mark Twain House & Museum and co-curator of A.L. Coburn's Men of Mark, will present a lecture exploring the life and pioneering photographic technique of Alvin Langdon Coburn.

Film: Things to Come
View the futuristic world as envisioned by H.G. Wells. This 1936 film written by Wells based on his book of the same name served as the foundation of the science fiction genre in film. Debra Petke, Deputy Director of The Mark Twain House & Museum, will present an introduction to the film.

Film: Pygmalion
This is the 1936 film based on G. Bernard Shaw's 1913 play. Shaw himself wrote the screenplay for this early version of the classic that served as the inspiration for the musical classic My Fair Lady. Debra Petke, Deputy Director of The Mark Twain House & Museum, will present an introduction to the film.
