Capital Campaign

To maintain the museum campus and the vitality of Mark Twain's legacy, we have embarked on a $20 million campaign. The projects to be funded by The Campaign for The Mark Twain House & Museum include:

  • Support for continued restoration of this treasured National Historic Landmark, including areas of the House and site that have never before been restored or open to the public, and reclamation of the historic landscape surrounding the House.
  • Endowment to ensure further growth and innovation in programming and preservation. Your tax-deductible donation may be charged to VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express using our online shopping cart, or you may mail your check made out to The Campaign for The Mark Twain House & Museum, 351 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105.

Online Donations

Donors wishing to contribute online to the Capital Campaign may do so in the following denominations.

  • Level 1 - $50


  • Level 2 - $250


  • Level 3 - $1,000


  • Level 4 - $2,500
